Patrick DeBlase
Partner
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, where his father was stationed in the U.S. Army, Mr. DeBlase was raised in the Midwest and attended high school in Chicago before moving to southern California to attend college and law school.
While an undergraduate at UCLA in 1989, Mr. DeBlase clerked for Sayre, Moreno, Purcell & Boucher, where he became well-versed in complex, toxic tort litigation. There Mr. DeBlase gained experience and knowledge regarding asbestos product liability cases and their attendant product identification issues, evidence, work-up, discovery and trial.
Mr. DeBlase joined Kiesel, Boucher & Larson, LLP upon its founding in April 1999, becoming a partner of that firm in December 2004. There he had a broad civil practice emphasizing product liability, class actions, construction defect, personal injury, medical malpractice, asbestos, business and contract disputes. In 2010, Mr. DeBlase joined forces with Eric Brown and Michael Eyerly to form a new law firm emphasizing trial practice - DeBlase Brown Eyerly LLP.
Mr. DeBlase has a broad civil practice which includes product liability, class actions, construction defect, personal injury, medical malpractice, asbestos, business and contract disputes. He has extensive trial experience in the fields of asbestos personal injury and property damage, medical malpractice, product liability and construction defects. He has successfully moved for class certification in numerous consumer class actions and has brought successful writ petitions and appeals before the California Court of Appeal.

Eric Brown is a trial attorney who loves tackling complex cases. Mr. Brown has fought corporations on behalf of injured plaintiffs and their families in several courts across the United States. Mr. Brown handles complex consumer litigation, asbestos-related diseases, product liability, toxic tort litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith cases.
Mr. Brown takes his job very personally. Having lost both of his parents at a young age from preventable diseases, Mr. Brown draws from personal experience in representing plaintiffs for injuries that could have and should have been prevented.
Mr. Brown is dedicated to helping those in need, and whose voices are seldom heard. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and John M. Langston Bar Association. He also volunteers his time providing help to organizations such as First AME Church in Los Angeles and United Farm Workers.
Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history from University of California at Berkeley and his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Michael C. Eyerly received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Geography - Environmental Studies from UCLA in 1992. Mr. Eyerly received his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine School of Law in 1995. Mr. Eyerly received American Jurisprudence awards in Commercial Law - Sales and Real Property Financial Transactions. He was also the recipient of a Dean's Merit Scholarship award and was a member of the Honors Trial Practice class. Prior to starting DeBlase Brown Eyerly, Mr. Eyerly was a partner at Kiesel, Boucher & Larson. Mr. Eyerly was law clerk to the Honorable Kathy A. Hardcastle, Eighth Judicial District Court, Nevada. Mr. Eyerly also practiced at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, LLP and Randolph & Levanas.
His experience encompasses a range practice areas including personal injury, construction defect, consumer class action, real estate broker/agent liability, business litigation, employment discrimination, and criminal defense. Mr. Eyerly is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

She has over 16 years of professional experience, including international commercial transactions, corporate restructuring, and non-profit grassroots organization. While her primary practice is complex product liability and class action litigation, Ms. Huang has a strong interest in providing legal expertise to the underserved and underrepresented communities in California. Ms. Huang received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in philosophy from the University of California at San Diego and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and speaks fluent Mandarin.
